I born and live in Bogor but I knew this place recently. Bogor is famous with its Sundanese tradition, but if you go to Pura Parahyangan Agung Jagatkarttya, you won’t feel in Bogor anymore. This temple was built not so long ago, 1995! The creator believe that this place is one of sacred place, he got this feeling through a dream and that is why he built this temple. This temple commonly used for annual praying or other religious celebration (for Hindunese of course!). But you also can visit this beautiful temple for free and obey some rules:
1. Dress politely, no shorts
2. Visitor must not wear any sandals/shoes on the temple and only allowed to visit main hall
3. Female with period are not allowed to enter the temple
4. Keep calm and quiet
This place is accessible by Angkot 03 (Blue) from Bogor Trade Mall (BTM), but you need to walk around 1 km, or you can hire an ojek from the entrance.
